Alabaster & Wilson sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with a rectangular cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.70 carats, surrounded by a single row of eighteen round old eight cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.72 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster featuring millegrain borders, an intricately piereced gallery and geometric open backholing, the raised shoulders taper down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'A & W' for Alabaster & Wilson, numbered '13723', English, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80244-18.
