Old cut diamond tourbillon ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, K colour, SI1 clarity with a weight of 2.15 carats in an open back claw setting, further decorated with twenty one round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats and set with four round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.59 carats, to an elegant tourbillon design featuring curving claws and millegrain edging, a pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to a-symmetric shoulders which flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, European, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5232760821.
