Colombian emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 5.27 carats, encircled by fourteen round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.10 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced structural gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid chamfered shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, indistinct makers mark, French, circa 1960, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-3633.
