Description

Art Deco Ceylon sapphire and diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old mine cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 5.67 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in closed back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.20 carats, to a geometric three stone design with a structured pierced gallery, polished edges and shaped backholing, featuring raised trumpeting shoulders leading through to a solid tapering shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1925, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79189-83.
