 Comments

Golay Fils & Stahl is a historic Geneva-based jeweller established in 1837. Originally a clockmaker, they later became renowned for their exclusive jewels and their notable international clientele, including the King Carol I of Romania and the Maharajah of Baroda.

Between 1860 and 1930 they opened premises in Paris and eventually shifted their focus from watchmaking to high-end jewels and precious stones.

In 1961 Jacques Wolfgang, a precious stones vendor to the firm since the 1930s purchased Golay Fils & Stahl. Today, the business continues under the leadership of the Wolfgang family and their long tradition of custom-made masterpieces continues.
