Marked 9 carat yellow gold, approximate 47.6 grams in weight, maker's mark 'W.H.A' for William Henry Adams, Chester, English, circa 1890.

An Albert chain refers to a man's watch chain in either a single or double width, which was popularised by Prince Albert in the mid 19th century. Today, they are commonly worn around the neck, or around the wrist, depending on length.

Victorian natural pearl and diamond locket. Set to centre with a natural half pearl in a closed back grain setting, encircled by a single row of eight natural half pearls in closed back grain settings, adorned throughout with nine round rose cut diamonds in closed back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.16 carats, to an oval locket design, featuring a central raised star shape plaque, polished edges and closed backholing, hinged to the right and opens to display two glass compartments, fitted to top with a secure oval bale, approximately 4.0cm in length. Tested yellow gold, circa 1880.
