Burmese Ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural no heat Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, encircled by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.90 carats, and flanked by six cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.20 carats to an elegant elongated cluster featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, the shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, partially engraved 'la vie est... ..12.94', maker's mark 'FK' for Franz Keiler, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5786-0550.
