Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 3.50 carats, bordered by twenty four round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to an oval coronet cluster design with leaf motifs to the pierced gallery, shaped backholing and inwardly tapering shoulders which lead to a D-shape shank. Tested rose gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79201-62.
