 Description

Colombian emerald and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with moderate clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, surrounded by twelve round transitional cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to an elegant geometric design featuring intricate openwork with millegrain edging, a pierced geometric gallery, and fancy open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with carved detail flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold and tested platinum, circa 1940, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-1768.
