Bulgari diamond bombé ring. Set with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VS1 clarity with a weight of 2.26 carats in an open back claw setting, to a impressive bombé design with curving claws, a solid gallery with a geometric pattern in relief throughout, and circular open backholing, flanked by broad integrating shoulders featuring the same textured motif, and flowing through to a tapering D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, signed 'BVLGARI', Italian, circa 1960, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2201928238.
