Vintage diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.40 carats, encircled by eight round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.80 carats, to a coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, and intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested white gold, circa 1950.
