Victorian sapphire and diamond five stone ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, interspersed with two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to a five stone design featuring smooth edges, a polished gallery and cushion shape open backholing, leading to integrated shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, marked 'H.R' and '18' to the interior, English, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81291-29.
