Victorian ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Siam ruby in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by twelve round mixed old cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, to an elegant cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'H&S', circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-2065.
