Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back grain setting, with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, encircled by eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings, with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring scalloped borders, a pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering shoulders that flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, makers mark 'A.BROS' for Ahronsberg Brothers, English, circa 1905.
