Edwardian Ceylon sapphire coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a single cushion shape mixed cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 4.25 carats, encircled by twelve round old cut diamonds in open back claw and collet settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.70 carats, further flanked by six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.76 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design, featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a grooved D-shape shank.
