Victorian Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a single cushion shape old mine natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.80 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open round backholing, leading to smooth inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79231-49.
