Art Deco solitaire diamond ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, H colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 2.08 carats in an open back grain setting, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats, the corners of the box collet set with four round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.28 carats, to a geometric solitaire design featuring curving claws featuring a square collet, a finely pierced openwork gallery with scrolling motifs and shaped open backholing, the raised trumpeting shoulders supported by cheniers flow through to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by HRD Antwerp report #15032731001.
