Edwardian Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.11 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, to an elegant three stone design with an intricate scrolling openwork gallery and pierced open backholing, leading to the inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail which terminate in a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-1794.
