 Description

Victorian sapphire and diamond triple cluster ring. Set to centre with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.80 carats, encircled by sixteen round mixed old cut diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.65 carats, to an elegant triple cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to decoratively carved shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'L&L' for Laurie & Lazarus, full hallmarks for Birmingham, English, 1892, engraved 'J.O. to A.W.H', accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5784-3693.
