 Comments

Padparadscha sapphires are coveted for their beguiling colour, ranging between a pinkish orange and an orangey pink, sometimes thought of as the colour of the sunset. They are one of the most desirable and rare of all coloured gemstones, their unique colour created by a delicate balance of chromium, iron and titanium.

The most sought after padaparadscha sapphires are those that hail from the old Ceylon mines, such as the incredible gem in this ring.
