Art Deco diamond cluster ring, American, circa 1935.

Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, surrounded by thirty round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats, further adorned by two marquise shape old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to an ornate openwork cluster form, millegrain edging, a linear pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders engraved with scrolling details, tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum and iridium, American, circa 1935.
