 Description

Old mine diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion-shaped old mine diamond, K colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.48 carats, in an open back claw setting, encircled by ten cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.68 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery, and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked yellow gold and platinum, French import marks, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6234221329.
