Old mine diamond cluster earrings. A matching pair, each set to centre with one cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, encircled by nine cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and rubover settings, eighteen in total with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to a pair of cluster earrings featuring curving claws, intricately pierced galleries and fancy shape open backholing, fitted to top with a secure hook and hinge clip, approximately 1.5cm in length. Tested rose gold, indistinct maker's mark, circa 1900.
