Be Inspired this Mother's day!

The Mother’s Day tradition in the UK has Christian origins and dates back to the 16th century, when young people were given a day off from servitude, and were reunited with their mothers when attending church. Today, Mother's Day remains an important day of celebration, with countries celebrating this holiday on different days of the year, in accordance with their own traditions.

In the UK, Mother’s Day, also referred to as Mothering Sunday, occurs on the fourth Sunday in the festival of Lent. This year, Mother’s day falls on the 19th of March, and provides the perfect opportunity to add some springtime sparkle into the lives of the women closest to you!

All our pieces are set with rare hand faceted diamonds that have been cut with deep proportions and draw your eye in to the stone. Whether it be in a bracelet, brooch, pendant or earrings, these diamonds truly have a superior scintillation! Some of our most recent acquisitions include a pair of remarkable vintage Cartier earrings, an onyx and diamond line bracelet and a striking array of unique and special pendants and rings!

If you are partial to a splash of colour, we have a wide selection of stunning coloured gemstones, including rare natural and unenhanced rubies, sapphires and emeralds from the old, long since depleted mines of Burma, Kashmir, Ceylon and Colombia to name a few. These valuable gemstones are seldom seen on today’s market, in a world dominated by gemstones which are routinely treated in an attempt to attain the depth of colour of their natural counterparts. New to the collection, we have a timeless double row natural pearl necklace by Marcus & Co, a stunning pair of Royal Blue Burmese earrings and much more!

A piece of jewellery is arguably is the most personal embodiment of someone’s style and character, and made more intimate by the closeness to which it is worn against the skin. Invest today in a beautiful piece of antique or vintage jewellery to be your own family heirloom, which can be passed down from mother to daughter to granddaughter.

Browse out recent acquisitions today which are uploaded daily to our extensive online collection. We offer complimentary gift wrapping, international and domestic shipping, and we would be most happy to enclose a personalised note for your loved one!
