 Description

Edwardian diamond crossover ring. Set with two round old cut diamonds, one F colour, VS1 clarity with a weight of 1.01 carats, the other G colour, SI1 clarity with a weight of 1.00 in open back claw settings, decorated with six cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.15 carats, adorned further with four round rose cut diamonds in open and closed back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.24 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring curving claws and millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and open and closed backholing, leading to asymmetric swirling shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) reports #6401266302 and #6405204144.
