Set to centre with one round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.60 carats, further set with sixteen rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats, surrounded by one hundred and twenty round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.80 carats, to an ornate openwork bombé design featuring a foliate lattice, polished borders and fancy shape open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid smooth shank. Marked platinum, numbered '30238', French, circa 1935
