Edwardian diamond drop earrings. A matching pair, each set to top and bottom with a drop shape old mine diamond in an open back rubover setting, four in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.96 carats, further set with a marquise shape old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting, two in total with a combined weight of 0.25 carats, further adorned by six round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, twelve in total with a combined weight of 0.36 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.57 carats, to an elegant articulated drop earring, flowing with movement, featuring millegrain edging, finely pierced galleries and fancy open backholing, fitted securely to top with a hook, approximately 4.4cm in length. Tested platinum and white gold, circa 1915.
