 Description

Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring. Set with an octagonal step cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.20 carats, encircled with twenty round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, to an impressive geometric cluster design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and open backholing, the inwardly tapering shoulders flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5783-4108.
