 Description

Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover setting, with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, encircled by a single row of fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.45 carats, flanked by six round eight cut diamonds with an combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.57 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring millegrain scalloped borders, a decoratively pierced openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81296-45.
