Burmese ruby and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back rubover setting, with a weight of 3.07 carats, encircled by a single row of twelve round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with an approximate combined diamond weight of 2.40 carats, to an elegant scalloped openwork cluster with an ornate pierced gallery with scrolling motifs, millegrain borders and intricate pierced open backholing, flanked by Fleur-de-Lis scrolling shoulders, flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) report #73314.
