The total approximate diamond weight is 1.24 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design, featuring curving corner claws, a structured openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting split shoulders flowing down to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America report #1159122021.
