 Description

Art Deco Yellow Sapphire and Diamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with an octagonal shape old cut natural unenhanced yellow sapphire in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 6.10 carats, flanked by two baguette cut diamonds in a half rubbover settings with a combined approximate weight 0.30 carats, followed by two baguette cut diamonds in a half rubbover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.20 carats, to an elegant cluster design featuring polished edges, a geometrically pierced gallery and open blackholing, leading to smooth shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1935.
