 Description

Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old mine diamond, I colour, VVS2 clarity, with a weight of 3.50 carats, in an open back square claw setting, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats and further flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.20 carats, to an impressive geometric flanked solitaire design featuring millegrain decoration, a pierced gallery and linear open backholing, flanked by graduating diamond set shoulders which flow through to a solid square shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #1226669700.
