 Description

Art Deco ruby and diamond cluster ring. Set with a square step cut natural unenhanced ruby in an open back rubover setting with approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further set with sixteen round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.16 carats, to an elegant marquise shape openwork cluster with millegrain edging, an ornate gallery with chenier detail and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat white gold and platinum, numbered '7695', circa 1920.
