Description

Art Deco diamond dress ring. Set to centre with one round old cut diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 0.55 carats, flanked by five rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats, further adorned with five square step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, further set with twenty five round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.75 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.40 carats, to an asymmetrical undulating dress ring featuring polished borders, a solid gallery and open pierced backholing, leading to broad shoulders and flowing through to a tapered square shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1935.
