Set horizontally with three round turquoises in settings, bordered by a row of twenty round in open back grain and settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.10 , to a smoothly conforming cluster with a pierced fancy , ornate backholing, and on a slim . 18 carat yellow , signed 'TIFFANY & CO', numbered '2000', American, 1900.

Nothing says Tiffany & Co. like the colour blue. Turquoise has been a feature in Tiffany pieces since the founding of the house back in 1837. It is unclear as to what inspired Charles Lewis Tiffany to choose the distinctive blue colour, but some theorize that it was in part due to the popularity of turquoise in 19th century jewellery.
