 Description

Antique sapphire solitaire ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.47 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring split curving claws, a fancy pierced gallery and open backholing, flanked by raised shoulders with engraved scrolling details which flow through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-1501.
