Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, E colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 2.16 carats, in an open backclaw setting, surrounded by nineteen tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 3.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.16 carats, to an impressive diamond cluster design with curving claws, an undulating gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting split shoulders and flowing down to a solid ridged D-shapeshank. Markedplatinum, maker's mark 'MTRE Mouboussin', numbered '362', French, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #5201073865.
