Emerald-cutdiamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, I colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 0.90 carats, in an open backclaw setting, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.06 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring corner claws, a linear pierced gallery and geometric open backholing, the gently sloping shoulders lead through to a solid D-shapeshank. Markedplatinum and iridium, indistinct maker's mark, American, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5234052161.
