Emerald-cut diamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.95 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.11 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring corner claws, polished edges, a linear pierced gallery and geometric open backholing, the gently sloping shoulders lead through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and iridium, maker's mark, American, circa 1950.
