Emerald and diamond cocktail ring, French, circa 1940. A platinum ring set with one central rectangular emerald-cut emerald in a claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in rubover collet settings with an approximate total weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by a heavy rectangular bezel bead set with eighteen round eight cut diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.36 carats, on a tapered square shank, and with an approximate combined diamond weight of 0.86 carats.
