Description

Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, to an elegant graduated three stone design with curving claws, polished edges, intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, the raised tapering shoulders supported by cheniers flow to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #78142-82.
