Vintage aquamarine dress ring. Set to centre with an emerald-cut natural aquamarine with a weight of 1.80 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by two rectangular step cut natural unenhanced aquamarines in open back half rubover settings with a combined weight of 2.20 carats. The total approximate aquamarine weight is 4.00 carats, to a heavy stepped form with gently curved tapered shoulders, pierced backholing and a shaped conforming gallery, leading to a solid flat tapered shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1950s.
