A matching pair, each set to centre with a cushion shape old cutnatural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open backclaw setting, the two with a combined approximate weight of 2.50 carats, suspended from one round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting, the two with a combined weight of 0.90 carats, further set with twelve round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, twenty four in total with a combined weight of 3.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.40 carats, to an elegant articulated drop earring, flowing with movement with a scalloped floral cluster, intricate pierced gallery and fancy shaped backholing, fitted to reverse with a secure post and butterfly, approximate length 2.7cm. Tested yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79189-82.
