Description

Edwardian three stone diamond ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.30 carats, to an elegant three stone design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery featuring heart motifs and open backholing, the tapering shoulders supported by cheniers, flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910.
