Description
Ruby and diamond ballerina cluster ring. Set to centre with one oval old cut natural unenhanced Siam ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.10 carats, further set with six round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.90 carats, further enhanced by thirty four tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 2.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.90 carats, to an impressive ballerina cluster design featuring curving claws, a pierced structural linear gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by split shoulders and flowing through to a solid angular shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, circa 1960, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #79187-29.
