Victorian engraved gold dress set. A matching set comprising of a pair of cufflinks and four dress studs, comprised of lozenge shaped cufflinks, featuring fern motifs and scrolling engraving, polished borders and a smooth reverse, joined by secure oval chain links to an elongated oval, four round shirt studs have matching fern motifs, cufflinks measure approximately 2.2cm in length. Marked 9 carat yellow gold, total approximate weight of 9.42 grams, cufflinks and one stud have full hallmark's for Birmingham and remaining three studs have full hallmark's for Chester, maker's mark 'C.H.C.' for Charles Howard Collins, English, circa 1894, accompanied by a fitted case.
