Georgian diamond memorial ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in a closed back cutdown setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, to a carved ring with a rectangular collet flanked by ridged shoulders featuring curlicues, leading through to a shank composed of scrolling panels with black enamel ground and inscribed with 'IN' 'MEMY' 'OF' 'MR' 'GOODWIN'. Tested yellow gold and silver, English, circa 18th century.
