Vintage fancy coloured sapphire and diamond ring by Oscar Heyman Brothers. Set with four tapered baguette cut natural unenhanced purple sapphires in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 14.00 carats, further set with three tapered baguette cut natural unenhanced yellow sapphires in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 12.00 carats and further set with thirty one round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate sapphire weight is 26.00 carats, to a striking floral inspired cluster, featuring curving claws, a smoothly conforming openwork gallery and ornate open backholing, flanked by sweeping shoulders with pierced scrolling detail and leading through to a solid slim D-shape shank. Marked platinum with yellow gold settings, maker's mark for Oscar Heyman Brothers, American, circa 1960, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-4747.
