Vintage sapphire and diamond ballerina cluster ring. Centrally set with a round old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.88 carats, encircled by a single row of ten round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.33 carats, further encircled by an undulating row of twenty four tapered baguette cut diamonds in claw settings with a combined weight of 2.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.33 carats, to an elegant circular openwork cluster with curving claws, an undulating gallery and intricate pierced backholing, flanked by elegant split knife edge shoulders, tapering down to a solid ridged shank.
