Set to centre with one round transitional cut diamond, K colour, VVS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.65 carats in an open back half rubover setting, flanked by eight rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover channel settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.50 carats to an impressive flanked solitaire design with polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the raised shoulders leading to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, indistinct makers mark, French, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #5221373653.
